Taking advantage of the civil war in Syria, Iran is developing a base for Hezbollah and other terrorist groups affiliated with it in the country. Iran is supplying weapons to these terrorist organizations. Iran is equipping terrorist organizations with arms and ammunition under cover of passenger planes entering Syria. Israel had accused Iran of storing these weapons in military and civilian locations in Syria. Also, Israel alleged Iran planned to use these terrorist groups to attack Israel. Israel started heavy attacks on Syria, saying that it would not allow Syria to become a military base for Iran under any circumstances. Israel warned that it would not wait for anyone’s permission to attack Syria.

After this, there were a large number of air strikes on Syria, and the Syrian Army blamed Israel for them. Israel never disclosed the details of the attacks. Nevertheless, Israel has launched hundreds of attacks on the base camps of Hezbollah and other terrorists in Syria, Israel’s senior military officers claimed some time ago.

AleppoAt around 3:50 am local time on Wednesday, heavy attacks occurred at the international airport in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. The Syrian Army has accused Israeli warplanes of flying over the Mediterranean Sea to carry out the missile strikes. Locals said that loud explosions were heard from the airport premises after the attack. Also, the locals released videos and photographs of the large fire in this explosion on social media.

But the Syrian Army and the state news channel said this explosion did not cause much damage. But according to the information from local sources given to the international news channel, the attacks occurred at the Nairab military airport near the Aleppo airport. Iran has stockpiled missiles in an underground warehouse in Nairab. Sources informed that the weapons unloaded from the cargo plane at Aleppo airport were stored in the same warehouse. Therefore, sources also claim that Iran suffered heavy losses in Wednesday’s attack.

Two weeks ago, airstrikes took place at Aleppo airport itself. Even then, the Syrian government said that the attack did not damage the airport. However, Syria completely shut down the service of Aleppo airport for a few days after the attack. Therefore, the human rights organizations here suspected that Iran suffered heavy losses in this attack.

Meanwhile, Iran is claimed to be close to developing a nuclear bomb. In such a situation, for self-defence, Israel has warned of attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear bases. There were reports that Iran was arming terrorist organizations in Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip to launch attacks on Israel from all sides. Against this backdrop, Israel appears to be targeting Iranian sites in Syria.
