Mossad Chief to visit US following Israeli Defence Minister and NSA -

Jerusalem: David Barnea, the Chief of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, is also going to visit the United States following the visit of Israeli Defence Minister and National Security Adviser (NSA). The visit of the Chief of Mossad, who openly criticised that the nuclear deal that the United States and Western countries are finalising with Iran is very bad, is noteworthy. Israeli media are claiming that David Barnea is going to the United States to present Israel’s changes in this nuclear deal. It is claimed that the nuclear deal with Iran is currently in its final stages. Along with the United States and European countries, Iran also has confirmed this. However, Israel is warning that this nuclear agreement will not stop Iran’s nuclear program but will advance it, soon making Iran a nuclear-armed country.

Moreover, Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid has made the United States and European countries aware of this in precise words. Also, Prime Minister Lapid warned that Israel would not be bound by the nuclear deal the West is making with Iran and that Israel may attack Iran’s nuclear facilities to protect itself. Prime Minister Lapid said Mossad and the Israeli Defence Forces had been ordered to be fully prepared for this.

Going further, the head of Mossad, David Barnea, announced that all the preparations to initiate action on Iran’s nuclear program had been completed. This clearly shows that Israeli differences with the United States and European countries are going to extremes over Iran’s nuclear program. However, the current government of Israel is not ready to adopt an openly aggressive stance like the former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was in power in Israel before. The government of Israeli Prime Minister Lapid is trying to resolve this issue through diplomatic negotiations, avoiding harsh criticism from the United States and European countries.

The Israeli Prime Minister recently stated that there is no other friend of Israel like US President Joe Biden. However, Israel’s Prime Minister Lapid pointed out that the nuclear deal that the United States is finalising with Iran violates the ‘red line’ that is the limit drawn by President Biden himself because, with this nuclear agreement, Iran will soon become nuclear-armed. That is why Lapid appealed that President Biden should withdraw from this without making such a bad nuclear agreement with Iran.

While such messages were being conveyed to the United States by the Prime Minister of Israel, Israel’s Defence Minister Benny Gantz and NSA Eyal Hulata visited the United States. They took a firm stand against the nuclear deal. After that, now the famous head of Mossad, David Barnea, will tour the United States and his visit attracted more attention. Because Barnea had announced that Hamas was ready for military action against Iran’s nuclear projects. Also, Barnea has taken a very aggressive stance against the US nuclear deal with Iran.
