Iran will always remain on Israeli radar, Israeli intelligence Mossad Chief

There will not be the slightest deviation from this, at any time,” said Chief of the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, Yossi Cohen. Mossad chief Cohen also noted that Israel is keenly following the developments in the Iranian nuclear program. Cohen made this announcement during a ceremony organised by Israeli President Rivlin.

While speaking at a function organised for Mossad, one of the leading intelligence agencies of the world, Cohen claimed that the Mossad has been providing maximum attention to Iran. He said, “Iran will always remain a priority for us. All Iranian nuclear, long-range missile and precision missile activities”, as well as its regional role “are a challenge to the security. Therefore, all the Iranian activities are on Israeli radar.”

At the same time, Lieutenant General Kochavi had said, “There is a possibility that we will face a limited confrontation with Iran and we are preparing for it. Israel will not be able to avoid a limited conflict with Iran. In the new year, Israel may have to face attacks, directly from Iran or Iran affiliated groups. These attacks may be launched on the northern Israeli border.” After that Mossad chief Cohen has said that every Iranian move is under the Israeli scanner, he, however, did not elaborate further on the subject. However, a former Israeli official has issued a fresh warning against Iran.

Former chief of Israeli intelligence, Amos Yadlin, warned that following the attacks by the United States on Iran affiliated groups in Syria and Iraq, Israel would have to be more cautious.
