Pakistan alleges Karachi blast accused received instructions from Iran

Karachi: Pakistani counter-terrorism unit CTD claimed that the links to the bomb blast in Karachi had been traced to Iran in the last week. CTD said that the blast was carried out under the instructions of the mastermind sitting in Iran. The Pakistani agencies clarified that the rebel organisation Sindhudesh Liberation Army based in Iran had a hand in the blast. Iran has dismissed the Pakistani claims. Even in the past, Iran and Pakistan have exchanged accusations regarding terror attacks.

The Pakistan media accused Indian agencies were behind these attacks. But the responsibility for the first attack was accepted by the Baloch Liberation Army. After that, on the 12th of May, an attack was launched targeting the security system in the Sadar Bazaar area in Karachi. The Pakistan agencies accused the Sindhudesh Liberation Army of being behind this attack, which claimed one life.

As per the information shared by CTD, the counter-terrorism department of Pakistan, both the terrorists involved in the Sadar attack were gunned down in an encounter. During the blast investigation, it was exposed that three people had been loading explosives on a motorcycle in the Mochaka area in the last week. When intercepted, they opened fire on Pakistan police. The two terrorists killed in the encounter, namely Dino and Ali, were in contact with Asghar Shah, the chief of the Sindhudesh Liberation Army. CDT chief Murtaza Wahab informed that Asghar was instrumental in sending Dino and Ali to Iran for training. Dino had acquired the skills to assemble explosives.

Dino had carried out a blast on the railway lines to compensate anywhere between Rupees 10,000 to 15,000. CDT informed that Dino had charged Rupees 50,000 for the use of high-intensity explosives in the blasts. But Asghar paid a sum of Rupees 178,000 for the explosions in the Sadar area. CDT is claiming that Dino received orders for the Sadar blast from Iran.
