Iran slams Pakistan for terror allegations; states that it is not involved in promoting terrorism in Pakistan

Tehran: Pakistan has alleged that Kulbhushan Jadhav had come to their country with the intent of creating terrorism. They have also claimed that Iran too seems to be involved in these acts of terrorism. Iran has condemned Pakistan for these allegations. The Iranian embassy in Pakistan has stated that terrorism in Pakistan is not being supported by Iran. After declaring a death penalty for Jadhav, the Pakistani military court have also arrested a Karachi based criminal Uzair Balochand established connections between them. The media in Pakistan has also claimed that Jadhav has connections with the Baloch-Irani spy organizations.

kulbhushan-jadhavPakistan has purported that Kulbhushan Jadhav was planning to attack their country by using the Chabahar port of Iran. They have also said that the Iranian intelligence agency is helping him and claim that Uzair Baloch was passing on sensitive and confidential information about Pakistan’s security to both Jadhav and the Iranian intelligence agency. Pakistani media has claimed that Baloch has confessed to his crime, but the Iranian embassy in Pakistan has firmly rebutted allegations of any involvement of their country in terrorism. 

A few months prior to this, the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has gone on a tour to Pakistan. During the visit, the Pakistani military chief had raised the topic of Kulbhushan Jadhav and had accused the Iranian intelligence agency of helping India.The Iranian President Rouhani had strongly reacted to these accusations. He had clearly refuted all the allegations made and expressed severe resentment towards Pakistan. He has also blamed Pakistan for purposely accusing his country and trying to strain their relationship, whereas Iran was looking forward to developing positive relations with Pakistan.
