Four Iranian Soldiers killed in an attack near Pakistan border

Tehran: Four Iranian soldiers were killed in an attack in Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan province near the Pakistan border. Iran has refrained from linking the attack to the anti-government protests which have been going on for the last three months. Therefore, a possibility of an attack on the Iranian soldiers by terrorists from Pakistan is suspected. This incident happened in the Sarawan area near the Pakistan border. Hence, Iran has alleged that the blast targeted Iranian soldiers.

The Kurds who managed to escape these actions have left Iran and taken refuge in the Kurdistan province of Iraq. Videos show young men and women from these refugees have started training in using weapons. Therefore, western analysts believe that the conflict for an independent Kurdistan will likely intensify. A news channel affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards and the establishment has termed this a terrorist attack. Hence Iran is indirectly blaming Pakistan for the terrorist attack on its soldiers.

Pakistan is currently under attack from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces near the Afghanistan border. Soon, Iran will attack from the third front, which will completely destabilise the western border of Pakistan, as per a senior journalist in Pakistan.
