The Chief of Israeli Defence Forces Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi had criticised the move of the Biden administration. Lieutenant General Kochavi had warned that signing a nuclear deal with Iran or relaxing the sanctions imposed against Iran will be a huge strategic mistake. If the Iranian nuclear program gains momentum due to the United States’ actions and the threat to Israeli security is increased, Israel will attack Iran on its strength. The Israeli defence chief had ordered the military to be ready for a war for this purpose.

A reaction has been received from Iran regarding this. Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the spokesman of the Iranian military, claimed that the warning issued by Lieutenant General Kochavi becomes a part of psychological war. Brigadier General Shekarchi threatened that if Israel made the mistake of attacking Iran, the Israeli cities of Haifa and Tel Aviv, along with the Israeli military bases, will be destroyed. Israel is not fully aware of the Iranian military capabilities. The Iranian missiles will destroy Tel Aviv in the shortest possible time. Shekarchi warned that the destruction would become more intense due to Israel.

Along with the military spokesman Mahmood Vaizi, the spokesman of President Hassan Rouhani also lashed out at Israel. Iran and the Iranian population are fully aware of this psychological war played by Israel. Vaizi claimed that Israel can only brag. Israel neither has a plan nor the ability to attack Iran. While speaking about the Iranian military capabilities, Vaizi referred to the recent war exercises by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran revealed information regarding the underground missile depots along the Strait of Hormuz. Iran claims that these are underground cities built to store short and long-range missiles. Iran had threatened that these missiles could hit every Israeli city. At the same time, the terrorist organisations, Hezbollah from Lebanon, Houthi from Yemen and other Iran-affiliated terrorist organisations from Iraq and Syria, also threatened to attack Israel.

Meanwhile, there is a significant increase in Israel’s threats over the last week.
