Iran's Revolutionary Guards hold military exercises near Strait of Hormuz

Tehran: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have begun a major exercise in Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman. This exercise has been organised to counter any attack or infiltration attempt on Iran in the coming times. Meanwhile, Iran’s senior military officers had warned that if the United States and Israel tried to attack Iran in any way, they would get a strong response. Moreover, Iran seems to threaten the US and Israel by organising this exercise in the maritime sector, the main transportation route of global fuel and fuel gas.

A website affiliated with the government of Iran has given information about the Zolfaghar-1401 military exercise. The Air Force and the Navy have also participated in this, along with the Iranian Army. Tanks, military armoured vehicles and patrol boats equipped with anti-aircraft guns and missiles of the Iranian Army would be participating in the live fire drill this time. Besides, Iran-made drones and bombers would be the main attraction of this exercise.

Moreover, Russia has been claimed to have used drones purchased from Iran in its conflict in Ukraine. Therefore, international media say that the international community’s attention will be on which drones Iran would demonstrate in this exercise. Besides, Russia and Iran have said they did not use Iranian-made drones in the Ukraine conflict.

A few hours ago, senior officials of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a new threat by declaring the US and Israel enemies. A senior official of Iran warned that if the US, Europe, Israel, or US’s Arab allies in this region attack in the coming times, these enemy countries will get a befitting reply.

Western allies have been looking for a pretext for action against Iran for the past four months by setting ablaze anti-government protests. Furthermore, Iranian media and analysts claim that the West intends to infiltrate troops in Iran. Analysts say that with this background, the Zolfaghar-1401 war exercise, which started on Friday, would be a strong response to the enemy countries of Iran.
