Aleppo: Iran and its affiliated terrorist organisations are fearing more attacks, like the last week, from Israel. Due to this fear, Iranian soldiers and its affiliated groups have vacated all the military bases in Syria and moved to civilian settlements. One more Israeli attack is predicted before President-elect Joe Biden’s swearing in the United States. Last week, on the 13th of January, crushing airstrikes were carried out in the Deir Al-Zor region, in eastern Syria. The Syrian military and the mouthpiece held Israel responsible for the attacks. But Israel has still not reacted on these attacks. 57 people had been killed in the attacks carried out on the military bases in the region. The human rights organisation informed that these included soldiers from Iran and members of Iran affiliated terrorist groups. It had also been reported that materials connected to the Iranian nuclear program also had been hidden in the pipelines of these military bases.
A Senior Official of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had said that there were no human or material losses in these attacks in Deir ez-Zor. The concerned official had also threatened that there would be a strong retaliation against these Israeli attacks. But as per the information received from various media sources in the Middle East, Iran has given up control of the Syrian military bases.
Before vacating the military bases and locations, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and the members of the Iran affiliated terrorist groups, have even emptied their weapon depots. The Iranian soldiers and terrorists have taken control of the civilian settlements in the Deir Al-Zor, Mayadin and AL Bukamal cities. The missiles and weapons brought from the military bases have been hidden in the tunnels dug in the civilian locations. A local journalist informed that the Iranian soldiers and terrorists are also avoiding unfurling their flags on their new locations, in order to hide the identity from the Israeli agencies.
President-Elect Joe Biden will soon be taking over the reins of the United States. Israel is becoming sure that these Israeli activities in Syria, will not be supported by the Biden administration. Therefore, Iran fears one more major attack from Israel, on Iran’s locations and terrorist groups affiliated to Iran, before Biden takes over as the President. A Kuwaiti weekly claimed that Iran and its affiliated groups have decided to hide in the civilian settlements for the next few days.
Along with the Revolutionary Guards and Quds Forces of Iran, Hezbollah from Lebanon, Fatemiyoun Brigade from Afghanistan, Zainabia Brigade from Pakistan, Battalion 113 from Syria-Iraq, Baqir Brigade and other terrorist organisations are active in Syria. In the last week, Israel targeted locations of all these leading terrorist organisations during the attacks in the Deir Al-Zor province.
