Hamas prepared to fight a war with Israel for six months straight

Gaza/Tel Aviv: – Hamas warned that it would not keep quiet while the Israeli security agencies take action in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Hamas has further added that it is prepared to fight a war continuously for six months with Israel. Last year, Hamas had showered more than 4,000 rockets on Israel for 15 days during the same period. Therefore, the significance of the Hamas threat has increased.

Major terror attacks were carried out in four Israeli cities over the last month. Terrorist organisation IS had accepted that responsibility for two of these attacks. Whereas it is suspected that the terrorists from the other two attacks were linked to terrorist organisations from the Gaza Strip. In the investigation by the Israeli security agencies, it has been exposed that terrorists involved in three of the four attacks came from the city of Jenin in West Bank. Against this background, the Israeli security agencies have started a spate of arrests in the West Bank.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has announced that the security agencies have been awarded complete freedom to take any action in this matter. Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz has deployed the military for actions in the West Bank. More than 200 people with suspected links with terrorists have been detained in that action so far. The supporters of these terrorists and extremists bitterly oppose the Israeli security agencies.

Covert attacks have been carried out on the Israeli security agencies, for four successive days, in the city of Jenin. Israeli soldiers have been injured in these attacks. The Palestinian media has claimed that the Israeli security agencies used Stun Grenades to stop the rioters. Hamas has welcomed the attacks being launched on the Israeli security agencies in the West Bank.

Hamas warned that the Palestinians would not heed the Israeli threats. Hazem Qasem, the spokesman of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, said that the attacks on Israel would continue until Palestine achieved complete freedom.

Zaher Jabarin, a senior official in the political wing of Hamas, made a huge accusation against Israel. Jabarin accused that certain groups from Israel may initiate decisive action against Palestine and these groups are preparing to attack the locations of the Palestinians. Besides, Jabarin threatened that if Israel attempted to hurt the sentiment of the Palestinians, it would never be tolerated. Hamas will not keep quiet. Hamas has made all the preparations for a war against Israel and it can fight a war continuously for six months. Jabarin issued this threat while speaking to the Hezbollah affiliated Al Mayadeen from Lebanon daily.

Meanwhile, last year, Hamas had launched 4,360 rocket attacks on Israel. Israel has warned that the weapons arsenal of Hamas has increased further since then. The Israeli security agencies consistently accuse Iran and Hezbollah of equipping Hamas further. Israel has also threatened that Iran and Hezbollah will have to pay its price.
