Israel to use laser against the balloons and drones coming from Gaza

Jerusalem: – Israel will be using lasers to neutralise the balloon and drone bombs being launched from the Gaza Strip. It has been claimed that this would secure the border region. This report was carried by a leading news channel in Israel.

Since the last two years, balloon, kite and drone bomb attacks are being launched into Israel from the Gaza Strip. The Hamas terrorists and their supporters had launched these attacks to destroy the barbed wire fencing on the Israel-Gaza border. As per the information received from the Israeli military, there has been a minimum of 2,000 balloon, kite and drone bomb attacks into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Eight thousand five hundred acres of farmland, grazing lawns and forest areas have been destroyed in these attacks.

Following these attacks from the Gaza Strip, even Hezbollah had threatened to launch drone bomb attacks into Israel. Israel had developed some military systems to counter these balloon, kite and drone attacks originating from the Gaza strip, but the efforts failed to counter the attacks.

As per the report published by the news channel, the Ben Gurion University and the technology section of the Israel military tested a ‘Light Blade laser’ which was developed in collaboration with a private company. The news channel informed that the system was successful in destroying targets up to 2 kilometres. This laser system can be used by mounting it on a military vehicle. The report says that the system can hit with precision in the day as well as night.

It is claimed that the Israeli Light Blade laser system is ready for deployment. The Israel military avoided reacting on the subject. Therefore, it could not be clarified where the system will be deployed. But there are indications that the laser systems will be extremely effective against the balloon, kite and drone bomb attacks originating from the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Therefore, the anti-Israel groups will miss the satisfaction of causing damage to Israel.
