Five killed in terror attack in Israel; Hamas and Hezbollah welcome the attack  

Jerusalem: – Five people have been killed in a terrorist attack in the Israeli city of Bnei Brak. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett warned that Israel is currently facing a ‘wave of Arab terrorism’. This is the third terrorist attack in Israel in the last seven days. The terrorist organisation IS has claimed responsibility for both the previous attacks. Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in Lebanon welcomed the attack on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night, Terrorists with rifles fired indiscriminately at a supermarket in Beni Brack, a suburb of Israel‘s financial capital Tel Aviv. The terrorist fired indiscriminately at the crowd fleeing the area and bikers and motorists. One policeman and four others were killed in the attack. According to Israeli media, two of them were Ukrainian citizens. The terrorist Dia Hamarsheh was killed in action taken by the Israeli police.  

Dia Hamersheh was revealed to be in the West Bank of Palestine and had previously been sentenced to six months in prison for one crime. Israeli security forces have arrested five people in the West Bank connected to the Beni Brack attack. Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz has deployed 1,000 troops in the West Bank and major Israeli cities. The deployment comes in the wake of the spate of terror attacks in Israel over the past week.  

Earlier, terrorist attacks were carried out in the Israeli cities of Hadera and Bir Sheva. IS claimed responsibility for both attacks. India has strongly condemned the successive terror attacks on Israel. Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Turkey, the United States, Britain, and France condemned the attacks.   

Meanwhile, the pro-Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon welcomed the Bnei Brak attack. Hezbollah has warned that establishing ties with the Arab world will not secure Israel. Hezbollah has warned that attacks will continue in Israel.
