248,558 lives have been claimed by Coronavirus around the world, so far, with an addition of 3,440 deaths over the last 24 hours. A US study group informed that out of these 1,126 and 1,193 deaths have been reported from the United Kingdom and Europe respectively. More than 600 deaths have been reported from the Asian countries. Satisfaction is being expressed as there has been a reduction in the number of deaths per day, over the period of last more than a month.
John Hopkins University is trying to point out that despite this, there is no reduction in the number of Coronavirus cases. In the last 24 hours, 81,153 new cases were reported around the world. Of these 26,613 cases have been reported from the United States, taking the total number of cases to 1,188,421. Whereas, Russia has reported more than 10,000 new cases on the second successive day. The number of cases in Russia has reached 145,000 and capital Moscow is becoming the epicentre of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, US President Trump has announced that the vaccine for Coronavirus will be ready by the end of this year. Researchers the world over are making efforts to develop a vaccine for Coronavirus, which has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives. Some of the researchers have claimed that it will take at least one and a half year to develop a vaccine against this virus. Whereas, some of the researchers have claimed that it is not possible to develop a vaccine for this virus and the world has to learn to live with it. In this scenario, the announcement made by President Trump comes as a consolation.
