Beijing: – As per the Chinese media, the ‘Type 094A’ nuclear submarine recently commissioned in the Chinese navy has been equipped with JL-3 ballistic missiles. These media have claimed that these missiles can target the regions up to the northeast of the United States.
Last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping launched two destroyers and one submarine. These included the ‘Type 094A’ submarine. As the previous version of ‘Type 094A’ was noisy, China claims to have developed this advanced submarine, working on the hydrokinetics and turbulent systems.
At the same time, JL-3 missiles have replaced the JL-2 missiles, which were installed on the submarine earlier. The Chinese media claim that this has increased the strike range of the submarine. The submarine also has acquired the second-strike capability.
