Chinese aircraft carrier patrolled near Taiwan Strait before Biden-Jinping talks

Beijing: – Chinese aircraft carrier Shandong patrolled near the Taiwan Strait on Friday. Whereas the Chinese fighter jets intruded into the Taiwanese airspace before that. These Chinese actions were taken just before the talks between President Biden and President Jinping regarding Ukraine. Reports of the Chinese President issuing warnings to the US President during the talks are received. It is claimed that the voyage of the Chinese aircraft carrier near the Taiwanese Strait is a warning to the Biden administration.

Moreover, Biden and Jinping held talks through video conference on Friday. White House informed that Biden warned China to be prepared to face the consequences for supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine. Whereas reports of the Chinese President threatening President Biden over the issues of trade and Taiwan are also being received. As per the Chinese media, President Jinping warned President Biden during the talks that the US-China relations would be in jeopardy if the United States did not handle the Taiwan issue appropriately.

Before these talks, the Chinese aircraft carrier Shandong patrolled near Taiwan Strait. While speaking to an international news agency, sources informed that a US destroyer USS Ralph Johnson chased the Chinese aircraft carrier. The Chinese foreign ministry said that the aircraft carrier completed its patrolling as per the military timetable and it has no connection with the Biden-Jinping talks. But it is being claimed that China is trying to pressurise the United States by sending its warship to patrol near the Taiwan Strait.
