BSF increases deployment along Kashmir border  

New Delhi: – The deployment of Border Security Force (BSF) has been increased on the Kashmir border, while tension is raging between India and China, in the Galwan Valley region in Ladakh. Reports are being received that Pakistan is preparing to take advantage of the tension between India and China, in Ladakh, to increase terrorist infiltration in Jammu-Kashmir. This increased deployment is in response to these reports.

Large number of terrorists are waiting to infiltrate into India. Dilbag Singh, Director General of Jammu-Kashmir Police (DGP) warned that Pakistan is looking at the India-China tension, as an opportunity and trying to push terrorists into Jammu-Kashmir. DGP Dibag Singh chaired a review meeting that was held on Thursday. This meeting held against the background of the increasing tension with China on the Ladakh border was attended by senior police officials and officials from the army and paramilitary forces, deployed in Kashmir. Dilbag Singh issued this warning during the meeting.   

The terrorist movements have increased even along the international border, in Kashmir. Therefore, BSF has made additional soldier deployments, in the area and has increased patrolling along the international border.
