300 terrorists waiting for infiltration across the border in Kashmir: Surendra Panwar, ADG of BSF

Srinagar: Surendra Panwar, Additional Director General (ADG) of Border Security Force (BSF) said that 300 terrorists are waiting for infiltration, on the launch-pads, across the Line of Control, in Kashmir. Pakistan is making frantic efforts to push these terrorists into the Indian territory before the onset of snowfall. But these efforts are being foiled. Two days ago, a major infiltration attempt was busted, in the Machil sector. Four soldiers, including an officer, had been martyred in the encounter.

This year, there is a reduction in terrorist infiltration. This year hardly 25 to 30 terrorists have succeeded in infiltrating into India. Last year the number was 149. The security forces are shooting down the infiltration attempts by Pakistan and the terrorist organisations. As per officials, this is the reason for the reduction in infiltrations.

Currently, there are nearly 250 to 300 terrorists, on the launch-pads and are preparing to infiltrate before the snowfall begins. But the ADG of the BSF asserted that all these infiltration attempts would be foiled. At this time, ADG Panwar paid homage to the soldiers martyred in the encounter in the Machil sector.
