US decides to supply weapons worth millions of dollars to Israel

Washington – US President Joe Biden announced military aid worth USD 735 million to Israel. China, Iran and Turkey heavily criticised the US decision. Turkish President Recep Erdogan accused that Biden is writing history with blood on his hands.

In April, US Congress had already approved the military aid to Israel. On Monday, the Biden administration confirmed the aid. It is claimed that the United States will be supplying Israel missiles capable of hitting the target with precision and other weapon systems. Moreover, President Biden held a telephonic discussion with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. President Biden clarified that the United States supports the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine.

Iran and China, infuriated by the US decision to supply weapons to Israel, when the conflict is raging between Israel and Gaza Strip, lashed out at the United States. These countries demanded that the United States should immediately reverse its decision. Turkish President Erdogan said, ‘There is bloodshed in many parts after the end of the Ottoman Empire. The bloodshed in Palestine region, also is a part of the same developments.’
