Through his statements and actions, George Soros has shown time and again that he has been an adversary of India, an anti-Hindu and an advocate of injustice. Besides, Soros can never hide his anger about India not being pliable as per his expectations. And that is why Soros has repeatedly been targeting India’s leadership and system. However, George Soros, who is levelling accusations against others, has been at the receiving end of many serious charges.
Born in Hungary in 1930, George Soros has been claimed to have a net worth of as much as $8.5 billion. George Soros is widely introduced as a prominent investor and philanthropist who generously funds social causes. But the government of the country where Soros was born, Hungary itself, has passed the ‘Anti-Soros Act’. The reason being the NGOs and organisations associated with George Soros, who claimed to be doing social work, were causing political interference in Hungary. The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, made these allegations and approved the ‘Anti-Immigrant Stop Soros Law’ in 2018.
After the civil war broke out in Syria and other Gulf countries, organisations funded by Soros were working to bring refugees from here to European countries. In addition, Soros had begun efforts to overthrow the governments of countries that refused to accept these refugees, such as Hungary, and bring in the government he wanted. Prime Minister Orbán had said that a law was approved to destroy this. Also, Orbán had accused George Soros of being interested in infiltrating refugees into Europe. Furthermore, Orbán said this is why Soros showed so much compassion for refugees.
Not only that, Orban said in June 2022 that George Soros was more interested in prolonging the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Besides, George Soros supported Ukraine’s anti-Russian activities even though Ukraine does not have the capability to confront a powerful country like Russia, behind which his interests have been hidden. Because Soros was among the businessmen profiting from the war, the Prime Minister of Hungary said as he criticised him sharply. Moreover, the role adopted by this investor, who identifies as a liberal, in the Ukraine conflict, proves Orban’s accusations.
Hungary’s Prime Minister claimed in 2020 that George Soros was the most corrupt person in the world. Besides, a large list of political leaders, judges, administrative officials, journalists and political demonstrators have been working on Soros’s salary but under the garb of being part of civil society.
Furthermore, Soros and his organisations consistently demanded that European countries show humanity by accepting refugees from Syria and Iraq. But some have questioned Soros’ claims, pointing to the fact that millions of refugees have entered Europe from countries other than Syria and Iraq, where civil war has been raging.
Also, this intensified the accusations that Soros was admitting refugees into Europe for his vested interests. There were concerns that if refugees entered the countries of Europe where the population was decreasing in large numbers, it would erase the countries’ cultural identity. But his opponents claim this was what a corrupt businessman like Soros expected. That is why some countries banned Soros’s Open Society Foundation (OSF).
Additionally, Soros and his organisations had tried to launch an international propaganda campaign against the countries imposing such a ban, accusing them of being regressive and against reformations. Soros has been severely criticising Russian President Vladimir Putin. Claiming that Russia was entirely responsible for the conflict in Ukraine, Soros appealed to all European countries to stand against Russia.
Soros, who advocated liberalism, had called for the European countries to provide weapon stockpiles and money to help Ukraine in the conflict without trying to stop the conflict in Ukraine and avoid bloodshed. Not only this, Soros had said that European countries should teach Russia a lesson by withdrawing loan guarantees for Ukraine. European countries did not respond to this. However, this proved the charge that Sorus is not a peace-loving but a war-monger.
Soros, who has such a controversial image, has developed its system in major countries worldwide, and there have been claims that this system was working to protect the interests of Soros. Moreover, Soros has been one of the few wealthy who benefits from anarchy, unrest and instability worldwide. Additionally, Soros has been seeking to pursue interests in the name of an Open Society Foundation (OSF) and trying to build a world under his total dominion. Soros strongly criticises the countries, leaders and systems that stand in his way, and Soros’s criticism of India’s leaders and systems also seems to be part of his scheme.
