Plot busted to hijack passenger plane and carry out 9/11-style attack in US

New York: – A terror attack, similar to 9/11, has been exposed in which hijacking of a passenger airliner and hitting it to a multi-storeyed building was being planned. The US security agencies have revealed this shocking information after detaining a terrorist from Al-Shabab, an affiliate of the terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda. Cholo Abdi Abdullah, a Kenyan youth, was training to be a pilot in the Philippines. Abdullah started his training in 2016. During this period, Abdullah came in contact with one of the Al-Shabab commander. This Al-Shabab commander was the mastermind of the terror attack carried out in a hotel in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. After that, the hotel blast suspicion regarding Abdullah increased, and he was arrested in the Philippines last year. Only four days ago, the Philippines handed Abdullah over to the United States. The information revealed during his interrogation was submitted to the Manhattan court by the US security agencies.

Abdullah had obtained the flying licence. He had searched on the internet regarding plane hijacking, high rises in the United States, important cities and how to get the US visa. The US agencies informed the court that Abdullah had even searched the technique regarding how to enter the cockpit and hijack the aircraft. The US agencies accused that this proves that Abdullah was preparing for another terrifying attack similar to 9/11. Abdullah has dismissed all these allegations levelled against him in the US court. But Abdullah’s lawyer Jill Shello refused to answer questions regarding the charges levelled against Abdullah. Therefore, the agencies are claiming that the charges against Abdullah are proved. The US court has too filed six charges against Abdullah like conspiring to kill innocent US citizens and plotting a hijack. Abdullah is the second Al-Shabab terrorist arrested by US agencies. Last year, the US agencies detained another member of this organisation. A US newspaper reported that the US agencies informed that this terrorist also was planning to hijack an aeroplane and carry out an attack in the United States.

Al-Shabab is a terrorist organisation from Somalia, and this organisation is already included in the Terror Watch List. The Travel Ban List announced by the current US President Donald Trump includes Somalia. Trump had announced that he was taking this tough decision for the security of the United States.

The dangerous terrorist organisation Al-Shabab, who is planning to carry out terror attacks in the United States, is a matter cautioning countries other than the United States. The agencies from European countries are also predicting possibilities of terror attacks and warning their governments.
