Afghan Army chief instructs personnel to be ready for a fitting retaliation against Pakistan

Kabul: The Afghan Army Chief ordered the military to be ready for a fitting retaliation against the Pakistani attacks in the border areas. Nine Afghan citizens have died, and more than 50 have been injured in Afghanistan during the artillery shelling by Pakistan in the last 15 days. Agitated by this, Afghanistan has decided to teach Pakistan a lesson. Last week, Afghanistan issued a warning to Pakistan by holding three war exercises near the Durand Line.

A few days ago, Pakistan launched an attack in the Spin Boldak area, near the Durand Line, killing 15 Afghan citizens. Thereafter, the Afghan military has increased its movements. Recently, Afghan Army Chief Yasin Zia ordered the Afghan army to give a fitting reply to Pakistan. He also ordered the soldiers of the Atal 205, Selab 20 T and Thunder 203 units of the Afghan military to get ready for a conflict with Pakistan. Whereas, the deployment of Afghan soldiers has been increased near the Durand Line. Amid all this, the Afghan military also held war exercises near the Durand Line. Therefore, it is claimed that something big is in the offing, and Pakistan will have to face the consequences.   

Meanwhile, at the time, when the Afghan Army Chief has ordered the Afghan military to prepare for a conflict against Pakistan, the incidence of Taliban attacks in Afghanistan has increased. On a single day, on Wednesday, 18 soldiers from the Afghan security forces were killed in Taliban attacks. Taliban targeted the Afghan security forces in the Takhar province, killing 14 soldiers. Within a few hours of this, the Taliban killed four Afghan soldiers in an attack in the Nangarhar province. 10 Taliban terrorists were also killed in an encounter with the security forces, at this time. It is also reported that the Taliban has blocked the Herat-Badghis highway. Against this background, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has appealed to the Taliban to stop the violence. President Ashraf Ghani also said that the Taliban should come forward for negotiations with the Afghan government.
