Will invade Iraq's Kurdistan and take action to crush protests in Iran

Tehran: ‘If the government of Iraq is not able to take action against separatist terrorists near the border of Iran, the Iranian army is ready to enter Iraq and liberate the area from these terrorists,’ the Revolutionary Guards of Iran threatened. Although not explicitly mentioned, it appears that the Revolutionary Guards’ warning was directed at the Kurdistan region of Iraq. A few hours ago, Iran’s foreign minister issued a stern warning to Iraq.

The Revolutionary Guards have been carrying out missiles and drone attacks in Iraq’s Kurdistan region for the past two weeks after anti-regime protests erupted in Iran. It is claimed that there have been casualties in these attacks in the Kurdistan region. Kurdistan’s leaders alleged that innocent Kurdish civilians were killed in Iran’s missile attacks. But Iran has announced that these attacks will continue until anti-Iran operations from the Kurdistan region stop.

Within the next two days, on Saturday, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a warning to the government in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. The Revolutionary Guards blamed separatists and hypocrites in Iraq for the ongoing protests and terrorist attacks in Iran. The Revolutionary Guards demanded that the government of Iraq should take action against these separatist terrorists. But if the government of Iraq does not take this action, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards would enter Iraq and deal with these separatist terrorists.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian threatened that the anti-Iran activities of Kurdish terrorists who have taken refuge in the Kurdistan region of Iraq and are targeting Iran would not be tolerated. Iran’s foreign minister gave this warning in a phone conversation with the foreign minister of Iraq, Fuad Hussein. Saying that Iran respects its cooperation with Iraq, the Foreign Minister of Iran signalled new action on the Kurdistan region.

Meanwhile, there were reports that Iran has increased its military deployment near the border with Iraq’s Kurdistan province. At the same time, it is claimed that Iran has deployed rocket launchers near the border with Iraq. Iran has reportedly started these military operations to intensify its crackdown on the Kurds.
