US aircraft carrier deployed near the Korean region

Tokyo/Seoul: US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and its associated fleet of warships have been deployed in the Korean region. It is claimed that this deployment is to participate in the joint war exercises with South Korea. The United States also seems to have made this deployment to warn North Korea, which is preparing for a nuclear test.

In 2017, the United States deployed a fleet of aircraft carriers in the Japanese and South Korean marine regions. But then a discussion was held between the then US President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. North Korea stopped nuclear testing after that and the United States withdrew the fleet of aircraft carriers. But North Korea has once again started a spate of missile tests and the situation in the Korean sector has become tense.

Against this background, the United States is claimed to have issued a warning to North Korea with the deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Korean region. Meanwhile, China has criticised the increasing military cooperation between the United States and South Korea. The Chinese mouthpiece has warned that South Korea should not become a pawn of QUAD.
