Jerusalem: Israel’s Defence Minister Benny Gantz has warned that PIJ commanders operating against Israel while sitting in hotels in Iran, Syria, and Lebanon will have to pay a heavy price for this. A few hours ago, PIJ chief Ziyad al-Nakhalah visited Iran. Gantz issued a warning regarding this visit by Ziyad.
Israel’s Defence Minister visited the southern region on Saturday to inspect the ‘Iron Dome’, which proved successful against rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip. At this time, Defence Minister Gantz accused PIJ leaders and commanders of harming Palestinians. Gantz claimed that the PIJ leaders living in the hotels and restaurants in Iran, Syria and Lebanon had distanced themselves from the Palestinian people. Israeli Defence Minister informed that many plots to attack Israel had been successfully foiled.
Meanwhile, PIJ chief Ziyad has visited Iran and sought assistance in taking action against Israel. Hezbollah, an Iranian-affiliated terrorist organization in Lebanon, has welcomed PIJ’s attacks on Israel. Reports are emerging that PIJ leaders from Lebanon have met Hezbollah.
