People of Gilgit Baltistan will support India in the fight against China, claim

Glasgow: Amjad Ayub Mirza, a political activist from Gilgit Baltistan, delivered a message that the people from Gilgit Baltistan are with India by saying that China has made a blunder and has awakened 1.35 billion Indians. Not only this, but China has awakened the entire population of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) along with Gilgit Baltistan. The citizens of Gilgit Baltistan will fight wholeheartedly, alongside the Indian military, against China.

The Chinese soldiers attacked the Indian soldiers in Ladakh in the act of betrayal. 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in the attack. Following that, the situation on the border is such that a conflict could spark between India and China at any time. At such a juncture, a message that the people from Gilgit Baltistan are with India has been delivered by Ayub Mirza, a local political activist. Currently, he is residing in Glasgow as a political refugee. He is instrumental in consistently raising a voice against the atrocities meted out to the people and the political massacre being perpetrated in POK by the Pakistan military.

Mirza said that the people of POK and Gilgit Baltistan have been kept away from India for the last 70 years. Mirza has warned that India is in a difficult situation following the Chinese intrusion. Chinese aggressive actions are continuing. China is playing a dirty game, by including Pakistan and the ruling communist party in Nepal. According to him, the people of Gilgit Baltistan will not remain quiet. They will support India.

Mirza delivered a message that China has awakened 1.35 billion Indians along with the people from POK. If it is destiny that the people of Gilgit Baltistan will meet the Indian military and the Indian people on a battlefield, so be it. The population of POK and Gilgit Baltistan are keen on fighting China, alongside the Indian Army.

The anti-Pakistan voices in POK have become intensely shrill, and Pakistan is desperately trying to suppress these voices. There is an exploitation of the people of Gilgit Baltistan in the CPEC project being implemented in Pakistan, and the people here are expressing fears that this region will be known as a part of China and not Pakistan. To make this official, Pakistan is trying to declare Gilgit Baltistan as the fifth province of Pakistan and is facing stiff opposition from the people of Gilgit Baltistan.

Following the abrogation of Article 370, leaders and activists from Gilgit Baltistan are appealing to India to relieve the people from Gilgit Baltistan of their troubles and include them into India. The people of Gilgit Baltistan have started asserting that this is an Indian territory. Therefore, the locals are pleading with India to declare this region as its territory to save the people of Gilgit Baltistan from the atrocities meted out by Pakistan and China. Siding India in the border dispute against a country like China, Mirza seems to have expressed the feelings of the people of Gilgit Baltistan.
