Nepal starts road construction near Indian border

Pithoragarh: Nepal, who dug up a dispute by showing Indian territories as a part of Nepal, has started road construction in the areas near the Indian border. Under the Mahakali Corridor, Nepal has begun road construction in the Dharchul-Tinker area near the border of Pithoragarh district. A helipad also has been built in this area for this purpose, and a helicopter of the Nepal military had landed here on Saturday. Nepal will be constructing this road up to Dharchula and Baitadi villages, on the banks of Kali River. This will make it easy for China to reach the Nepal border. Therefore, it is clear that China is inciting Nepal for this road construction. Meanwhile, reports have been received that India has increased deployment of armed border forces, near the Nepal border in Uttarakhand.

The Nepal border touches Pithoragarh and Champawat districts in Uttarakhand. Pithoragarh shares 150 kilometres of border with Nepal. There is a bridge in the Banbasa village in Champawat district. There is a small bridge for travelling between Jhulaghat and Sitapur. Both these bridges are regularly used by the Nepal citizens. Many Nepal citizens use Indian roads to travel to other places in Nepal. Not only civilians, even the soldiers from Nepal military use these Indian roads. But now, more than a dozen roads are being built by Nepal in Dharchula and Baitadi. Nepal intends to bring these villages into the mainstream with these roads. But it is clear that the purpose of these roads is making it easier for the Chinese to reach the Indian border.

Currently, after Nepal dug up the border dispute with India, the Nepal military has built military posts at more than half a dozen locations along the Kali river and soldiers are being posted there. It is being said that this decision was taken by the Nepal government to reduce the dependence of the Nepal citizens on the Indian roads. But it is clearly evident that the KP Oli Sharma government is acting under instructions of the Chinese communist government.
