Pakistan coast guard attacks Indian fishing boats, India lashes out  

Ahmedabad: – One fisherman was injured in the attack of the Pakistani coast guard, on two Indian fishing boats, near the Gujarat border, on Sunday. India has registered a strong protest against the attack. India reprimanded that this attack by the Pakistani coast guard violates the international laws and Pakistan should not indulge into such aggression in the future. Since the last few days, Pakistan military is consistently resorting to firing and shelling on the Line of Control, in an attempt to facilitate terrorist infiltration.

Now the Pakistan coast guard has targeted the Indian fishing boats. The Pakistan coast guards, opened fire on these fishing boats while they were in Indian waters, near the Gujarat border. There were eight fishermen on these boats, at that time. One of the fishermen was injured in the firing. Following the attack by the Pakistan coast guard, the fishermen informed the Indian coast guard.  

The Indian coast guard contacted the Pakistan coast guard, who confirmed the attack. Thereafter, the Indian coast guard despatched the ship ‘ICGS Arinjay’ for the rescue operation. Both the fishing boats were safely released. This incident took place on Sunday evening. Three Indian civilians, including a two and a half year girl, were killed in the Pakistani firing on the Line of Control, on Sunday itself. Since the last few days, Pakistan is consistently demonstrating aggression against India. It is an effort by Pakistan to create tension on the border.
