Israel reserves complete right to act against Iran as a pre-emptive measure

Jerusalem: Israel is not opposed to the diplomatic negotiation being held to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities. But if the negotiations do not succeed in a stipulated time, Israel has the complete right to take action against Iran for its security. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett issued a fresh warning that Israel can take action all by itself if there is no concurrence. The Israeli Prime Minister presented his country’s stand during a meeting with the International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA) chief.

A few days ago, IAEA had expressed a concern that there was an 18-fold increase in the Iranian stocks of Enriched Uranium. The IAEA had said that this development in the Iranian nuclear program is severe compared to the original nuclear deal signed in 2015. At the same time, the IAEA claimed that Iran did not provide satisfactory answers to certain questions regarding the nuclear program. Therefore, international analysts have claimed that Iran has the necessary materials to build an atomic bomb.

Four days after this, Rafael Grossi, Director General of IAEA, visited Israel and met Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Israeli Prime Minister appealed that the board of IAEA should adopt a clear stand regarding these dangerous developments in the Iranian nuclear program. At the same time, Prime Minister Bennett clarified that Israel is not opposed to the diplomatic negotiations started by the western countries with Iran. But saying that Israel can also take action against Iran on its own, Prime Minister Bennett warned of military action.

Israel has threatened to attack the Iranian nuclear projects even in the past. For the last few days, the Israeli military has held the Chariots of Fire exercises to target Iranian nuclear projects and military locations. These Israeli exercises are claimed to warn Iran and the Iran affiliated terrorist organisations. Whereas Iran has also replied to this Israeli exercise. A senior Iranian official said that Israel could attack Iran only in its dreams.
