Washington: Israel had forewarned the US about attacks on Iran-linked sites in Syria. But reports are emerging that Israel kept the US in the dark about its covert attacks on Iran. A US news channel claimed that Israel did not inform the Biden administration about the attack on the Iranian nuclear scientist.
Last month, senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards official Sayyad Khodai and a nuclear scientist were murdered in broad daylight. Iran has blamed Israel for the killings. Israel has not reacted to Iran’s allegations. But a leading US newspaper has blamed Israel for this.
Now, the US news channel CNN also has claimed that Israel was behind the attacks, quoting sources from the Biden administration. According to the US news channel, Israel had not informed the Biden administration before or after taking action against Khodai or other targets in Iran. Therefore, it is clear that Israel is still unwilling to trust the Biden administration on the Iran-related issues.
