Anger rages in the US against President Biden after US army withdrawal from Afghanistan

Washington: – President Biden sought to shrug off responsibility for the Afghan withdrawal, saying the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan had been taken unanimously by US defence chief and senior military officials. The stand adopted by Biden, the ‘US Command in Chief’, has drawn outrage in the United States. Former President Donald Trump lashed out that never before in the history of the United States, withdrawal from war was treated so irresponsibly. Russia and China will benefit from this embarrassing US withdrawal, said former US ambassador Nikki Haley.

The US withdrawal from Afghanistan ended at midnight on Monday. There is a wave of outrage in the United States against this. Aware of this, the Biden administration has begun to support the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. Biden said the deployment of US troops in Afghanistan, over the past 20 years, had ended. He also said he would speak on the issue in the next few hours but declined to answer media questions. The US Secretary of Defence and Secretary of State have also backed the Afghan withdrawal.  

But former President Trump criticized Biden’s weak leadership for forcing the United States to make the most humiliating retreat in history. Trump also accused Biden of leaving all US weapons in Afghanistan. Former President Trump has demanded that Biden try to get his weapons back or take direct military action.  

The United States has been criticized that the weapons have landed in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorist groups. Biden is being accused from within the United States of making an irresponsible withdrawal. Biden has been charged with equipping America’s biggest enemy in the name of withdrawal.
