wen-jiabao-chinaJiabao’s mother expired in the month of December. An article mentioning her speaks about the cultural revolution brought about by Mao Tse-tung. Jiabao has expressed an expectation that honesty, justice, generosity and freedom should progress, which cannot be ignored. Jiabao has not targeted the goals of the current Chinese regime or President Jinping. He has particularly avoided even muted criticism of them. Despite this, claims are being made that he has indirectly expressed displeasure over the policies of President Jinping.

Thousands have shared this article on Chinese social media. The government of President Jinping marked the popularity of the article, and the writing was immediately banned. More importantly, it has become visible that the Chinese regime is restless, and this gives multiple messages to the world. President Xi Jinping is considered to be the most decisive leader after Mao Tse-tung. No other President of China has had so much power concentrated in his hand. But Jinping has become the supremo of the country.

Using this, President Jinping started a systematic campaign to eliminate all his political opponents. Jinping has tightened his grip on the communist party by using the pretext of actions against corruption and malpractices. His trusted deputies occupy the power positions in the country, and Jinping has made sure that no one from the opposition rises to these levels.

At the same time, additional restrictions are being imposed against civic freedom. In this scenario, reformist and progressive leaders like Jiabao are in precarious condition. The expectation expressed by Jiabao that China should sponsor honesty, justice, generosity and freedom and progress in that direction becomes significant as the journey of the current Jinping regime is precisely in the opposite direction.

Therefore, everything is not well in Chinese politics. Indications are that there is displeasure regarding Jinping on the internal level, which could transform into discontent. The international media has taken note of this.
