Attempt to intrude Jammu and Kashmir gets foiled, two terrorists slain 

Srinagar: A great attempt to invade Jammu and Kashmir was foiled and two terrorists were slain near the Line of Control. Besides, large amount of arsenal was detained from them. Moreover, Major Gen. Virendra Vats informed that about 250 to 300 terrorists are ready at the PoK launch pad to initiate an invasion. Next month, the abrogation of the Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir will complete a year and thus, Pakistan is planning to commit a terrorist attack in the union territory, claims a senior Indian Army officer. Moreover, the intelligence agency anticipates that Pakistan’s BAT can also attack in the region.

On Saturday, the Indian Army soldiers killed two terrorists in an encounter, who were trying to invade Naugam Sector by cutting the wire fencing. The slain terrorists carried two AK Assault Rifles, 100 Bullets, one Pistol and Hand grenades. The pistol is made in China and the four hand grenades that have been detained were produced in Pakistan Ordinance Factory. Moreover, a hand-grenade of the sort was used in the 2001 Parliament Attack by a Jaish-E-Mohammad terrorist. The army has also obtained Indian and Pak currency worth 1.5 lakhs from the slain terrorists.

MeanwhilePakistan’s Border Action Team- BAT may attack the security force personnel in Bhimber Gali and Naushera sector. Earlier, BAT had attacked the civilians too. Thus, the soldiers in these two regions have been alerted. In January, Pakistan army’s BAT commanders attacked on two civilians on the line of control in Poonch district. One of them was beheaded. Furthermore, the patrolling was increased in this region and also were more soldiers deployed at night after the warning by the intelligence agency.
