The Commander conference of the Indian Airforce started on Wednesday. During this conference, attended by Air Chief Marshal RK Bhadauria, discussions will be held regarding the preparations and readiness against the background of the tension reigning on the Chinese border. The Defence Minister made the inaugural speech at the conference. Rajnath Singh said that the Balakot attack after the Pulwama terror attack and the current level of preparedness had delivered a strong message to the enemy.

Rajnath Singh clarified that although efforts are being made to reduce the tension with China, India needs to be alert and the Airforce should be ready for any eventuality. Rajnath Singh also assured that all the requirements of the Indian Airforce would be fulfilled.

Although the Chinese soldiers have withdrawn from Ladakh, they have not withdrawn from some sensitive locations. During the meeting of the military officials, a timeline of two weeks had been given to China to withdraw to the original state. Even after one week, the Chinese deployment is continuing in the Pangong Tso and other regions. Instead, reports are being received that China has started increasing its deployment now. Against this background, the orders issued by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to the Indian Airforce, to be prepared for any eventuality, become significant.
