Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani criticized the two faced policy of Pakistan and has hit out at Pakistan for providing a safe haven to terrorists. President Ashraf Ghani also warned Pakistan not to meddle in Afghanistan’s foreign policy. President Ashraf Ghani emphasizes relations with India, terming it to be very important while on the other hand, the relation with Pakistan has been termed as treacherous.
The Afghan President also said that Kabul was proud of its relations with India as the Indian Government shares Afghanistan’s democratic aspirations. President Ghani also said that India, a democratic nation is a historical friend of Afghanistan.
In an interview with a Pakistani news channel, President Ghani stated that India has a very important place in Afghanistan’s foreign policy, and that Pakistan has no business to interfere in its foreign policy and any attempt of Pakistan to interfere would be treated as violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty.
