Afghan forces kill 31 terrorists including 13 JeM terrorists from Pakistan

Kabul: – 31 terrorists were killed, in a joint action carried out by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) and the military, in the Khogyani district of Afghanistan. These include 13 Pakistani terrorists. One of the terrorists was captured alive. Recently, a report published by the United Nations claimed that nearly 5,500 to 6,000 Pakistani terrorists are active in Afghanistan.

Last week, 25 Taliban terrorists were killed in a NATO attack carried out in Afghanistan. There were 12 Pakistanis among them. Pakistan identity papers were found on them. Thereafter, the Afghan security forces have intensified their actions against terrorists. On Friday, NDS and the Afghan military carried out a joint action in Khogyani district. A total of 31 terrorists were killed in action. Out of these 18 were from Taliban and 13 were Pakistanis. One terrorist has been captured alive and his name is said to be Moulavi Sohail. Terrorists of Jaish, from Pakistan, are assisting the Taliban in trying to create instability in Afghanistan.

In June, the Afghan military destroyed a Lashkar-e-Taiba base, on the Pakistan border. Two Lashkar commanders were killed in this attack. It has been exposed that the Pakistani intelligence agency is supporting these terrorist organisations. Whereas, the report published by the United Nations claimed that there are nearly 5,500 to 6,000 Pakistani terrorists active in Afghanistan. Majority of these terrorists are affiliated to Tehrik-e-Taliban. The report also exposed that there are nearly 400-600 terrorists affiliated to Al Qaeda, in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the incidence of Taliban attacks has increased in Afghanistan. A study group had warned that there is a Pakistani hand behind these attacks.
