US reports 1,883 Coronavirus deaths in 24 hours, 9,000 new cases in

Washington/Moscow: The number of lives claimed by Coronavirus, in the world has reached 240,631. 1,883 deaths were reported from the United States in the last 24 hours and a reduction in the number of deaths, in a single day was observed after three days. Meanwhile, following Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Pashustin, two more leaders from Russia have reportedly been infected with Coronavirus.

Out of the total deaths reported in the world, 65,888 deaths have been reported from the United States, alone. There are 1,134,084 Coronavirus cases in the United States and there has been an addition of 30,000 new cases in the last 24 hours. The researchers in the United States are working on a war footing to develop a vaccine for Coronavirus. In this scenario, it has been reported that US President Donald Trump held a meeting with the senior management of the company manufacturing Remdesivir.

The pandemic has claimed 139,142 lives in Europe. 28,710 patients have died in Italy and in the last 24 hours, more than 400 deaths were reported from that country. The pandemic has claimed 621 lives in the United Kingdom, in one day, taking the total number of deaths in the country to 28,131. There have been 25,100, 24,594 and 7,765 Coronavirus deaths in Spain, France and Belgium respectively. It has been two days since the European countries, excepting the United Kingdom, relaxed the restrictions in the lockdown. But it has been reported that the number of Coronavirus deaths have increased in these countries in these two days.

The situation in Russia is becoming difficult by the day. The pandemic has claimed 1,222 lives in the country. In the last 24 hours, there has been an addition of 9,623 new cases of Coronavirus, taking the total number of cases in Russia near to 125,000.

In the last 24 hours, Russian Construction Minister Vladimir Yakushev and his associate Dmitry Volkov have reportedly been infected with Coronavirus. Other than these, two Mayors from the Moscow city have been quarantines under the suspicion of Coronavirus infection. A possibility of 2% of the Moscow population being infected with Coronavirus is being predicted.
