Saudi-Iran cooperation will spell disaster for Iran – British newspaper  London: The cooperation established between Saudi Arabia and Iran will pave the way for new cooperation by resolving disputes in the Middle East. This will lead to the inclusion of Syria in the Arab League. Also, relations with Arab countries in Yemen and Lebanon will improve. Due to the cooperation between Saudi-Iran, US influence in the Middle East has decreased and China has a big scope here. But these changes in the Middle East will be dangerous for Israel soon, warned a leading British newspaper.

A month ago, China brokered cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Last week, Iran took an important step to improve diplomatic relations by opening its embassy in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also rescued 60 Iranian citizens trapped in the conflict in Sudan. There is news indicating that the cooperation between Saudi and Iran will increase in the near future.

Moreover, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi may soon visit Saudi Arabia and meet King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Passenger air traffic will also start between the two countries soon. There are also reports that the Saudi market will be open for Iranian steel. It is claimed that cooperation between the two countries will soon be established on other fronts.

Saudi-Iran cooperation will spell disaster for Iran – British newspaper  Furthermore, the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’ quoted an Arab analyst as saying that Saudi Iranian cooperation would be helpful to other Arab countries. As Saudi and Iran come together for the first time in 40 years, the Arab-Middle East bloc will also come together, the Arab analyst said. Saudi Arabia and other Arab League countries could recognize the Assad regime in Syria. At the same time, relations between Arab countries with Houthi rebels in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon could also improve, the analyst claimed. Besides, due to this cooperation, Iran’s economic crisis has ended. This analyst says that the Saudi market is open to China.

The analyst pointed out that all these developments are helping to end US influence in the Middle East and China’s foothold in the Middle East. The analyst warned that this could jeopardize the Abraham Accord that Israel had made with the Arab countries. Ayham Kamel, the head of Eurasia Group, claimed that even after China’s mediation, cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia would continue slowly.

Meanwhile, another think tank in the United Kingdom has claimed that Saudi-Iranian cooperation will collapse soon. Cinzia Bianco, an analyst of the London-based ‘European Council on Foreign Relations’ think tank, warned that one could not have undue expectations about Saudi-Iranian cooperation. Bianco said an agreement to establish cooperation between Saudi-Iran could be finalized soon. The think tank said that Saudi-Iran cooperation may lose its importance if a Republican president is elected in the US election next year or if Israel launches an attack on Iran.
