Russian Army control over Chernobyl nuclear project dangerous: US White House

Washington: – White House reacted that the control of the Russian military over the Chernobyl nuclear project is a dangerous development and a cause for concern. Besides, the Russian military’s control of the nuclear plant responsible for the most gruesome accident in history poses a grave threat to the country’s security. Ukraine accused the Russian army of taking 92 employees at the project as hostages. The radiation leak due to the explosion in reactor no. 4 of the project in 1986 killed at least 100 people and injured over a thousand. The site was shut down for a few years after that. In this scenario, intense reactions were received from the United States and European countries as the Russian military took control of the nuclear project. White House has claimed that Russia has threatened everyone’s security by controlling the project, which faced nuclear radiation leakages.

Meanwhile, international analysts have claimed that Russia has conquered the most prominent front in Ukraine with the Chernobyl nuclear project control. Belarus is the shortest route to reach Ukraine‘s capital Kyiv. Capital Kyiv is just 108 kilometres away from the Chernobyl nuclear project. Therefore, analysts have warned that Russia has taken a significant step in the direction of Kyiv by taking over this project.
