Pressure rises on Chinese economy

Therefore, the decline in China’s imports by almost eight per cent and China’s failure to increase the pace of exports indicate a new crisis, international analysts say.

It was said that China’s imports and exports in April, the second largest economy in the world, were not as expected by international analysts. Last month’s imports decreased by 1.4 per cent to 7.9 per cent compared to March. It was said that there was no expected increase in exports. China’s exports were 14.8 per cent in March. But in April, the same export could only reach 8.5 per cent.

Furthermore, China had claimed that it had limited its market in the background of Corona for the last three years. Because of this, like other countries, the import and export of our country has also been affected, China said. But China’s import-export will set new records once again after lifting the restrictions during the corona period last month. Chinese analysts claimed that it would easily beat last year’s figures. But Shutian Shen, an Economist Intelligence Unit economist, said this did not happen.

The global economy is not ready to trust the Chinese market as much. The international news agency says this strengthens the suspicion of China’s imports. China’s semiconductor market has also been affected and has witnessed a decline of 15.3 per cent. It is claimed to be a big blow for China.
