Pakistan military cracks down against Afghan refugees

Kabul: – It is learned that the Pakistani army has taken action against Afghan refugees on the Spin Boldak-Chaman border. One Afghan civilian was killed when the Pakistani army closed the border. The enraged Afghans hurled stones at the Pakistani army.

Frightened by Taliban’s brutal action, thousands of Afghans are fleeing to neighbouring countries for refuge. The United Nations has called upon these countries that the Afghan refugees be granted asylum in their countries. Although the Pakistani government has openly claimed that the Chaman border has been reopened, in reality, Pakistan has cornered thousands of Afghans by closing the border.  

Afghan journalists are already reporting that the Afghan people are angry with Pakistan for supporting the Taliban in the Pakistani media. Afghan journalists are warning that the anger of the Afghan people could peak as Pakistan closes the border.
