Indian Defence Minister thanks Russia for capturing IS terrorist and averti

New Delhi: A disaster was averted when Russia arrested an IS terrorist preparing to come to India and carry out a suicide attack. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh thanked Russia for this. Shanghai Cooperation Organization-SCO meeting is underway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In a meeting with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu here, the Indian Defence Minister praised and thanked Russia for this action. At the same time, Rajnath Singh launched a scathing attack on all types of terrorism, in this SCO meeting, in the presence of the defence ministers of Pakistan and China.

The terrorist, recruited by the dangerous terrorist organization IS, was detained by Russia’s Federal Security Service-FSB. This terrorist, who came to Russia from Turkey, was going to carry out a suicide attack on the leader of India’s ruling party. The terrorist, who hails from a Central Asian country, received training in Turkey to carry out the suicide attack. He was going to stay in Russia until further notice and on receiving his orders, he would come to India and launch a suicide attack. In India, he was to be supplied with the materials required for this attack. But his arrest by FSB before that foiled the terrible IS plot.

Therefore, considering this Russian action, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh thanked ally Russia for this. Along with this, the Defence Minister, while speaking at the SCO meeting, strongly attacked terrorism. Any form of terrorism, from cross-border sponsored terrorism, is a crime against humanity. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that it must be unanimously condemned. At the same time, the Defence Minister announced that India would continue to fight to free its region from all forms of terrorism. In the presence of Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, the Indian Defence Minister is seen to have criticized Pakistan for supporting terrorists, avoiding naming it directly.

Indian leaders and diplomats are attacking countries that support terrorists without naming Pakistan directly on the international platform. This is because not naming Pakistan directly takes away the limelight from it. Since the link between terrorism and Pakistan is already established internationally, the message that India is targeting Pakistan is delivered to the world. This is part of India’s very well-planned strategy and it seems Pakistan has been left out. India’s policy of launching such attacks at international conferences and meetings is successful and analysts of this country are constantly expressing their regret that this has entirely discredited Pakistan.

Meanwhile, speaking at the SCO conference, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh mentioned Afghanistan and asserted that India expects a safe and stable Afghanistan. Also, the Defence Minister once again underlined the Indian position that Afghan land should not be used for activities against other countries. Also, while talking about the conflict in Ukraine, the Defence Minister said India is very concerned about the situation. Rajnath Singh believed that this issue would be resolved only through diplomatic negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
