Last month, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced new regulations regarding Coronavirus. It has displeased a huge chunk of truckers in Canada and they had appealed to the Canadian government to withdraw these regulations. But as Trudeau refused to oblige, the truckers united and announced the agitation. Thousands of truckers reached the Canadian capital Ottawa. These truckers have parked their trucks at important locations in Ottawa near the parliament.

At the same time, agitations have also started in Quebec, Toronto and other cities. Many groups opposed to the policies of the Trudeau government have supported the agitation by truckers and have begun providing funding and other assistance. The truckers participating in the agitation have resolved not to leave capital Ottawa until their demands are met. Prime Minister Trudeau has claimed that a small notorious group is behind the agitation. At the same time, Trudeau has left Ottawa and the family, citing reasons like Corona and security.

The administration has failed to dismantle the agitation despite government pressure and huge deployments of security forces. Instead, the Ottawa administration was forced to impose an emergency in the city, given the growing extent of the agitation. Sensation has been created in the Canadian political circles with the police chief’s claim that this agitation is transforming into a countrywide rebellion against the government. The agitation, which started nearly two weeks ago, has received support even abroad.

Many leaders of former President Trump’s Republican party have expressed support for the agitation. It is reported that billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has expressed support for the truckers’ agitation. Truckers from Europe also have decided to agitate to support the Canadian truckers’ agitation in the next week.
