Coronavirus cases around the globe cross 7.1 million

Baltimore: The number of Coronavirus cases is rising consistently, around the globe and the number has crossed 7.1 million. The number of Coronavirus deaths has reached 407,000. Although, there are a huge number of Coronavirus cases, in the United States and Brazil, the Asian countries Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia are emerging as the new hotspots of Coronavirus. At the same time, New Zealand has announced complete eradication of Coronavirus from the country.

Coronavirus cases around the globe cross 7.1 millionAs per the information given by the John Hopkins University and Worldometer, the number of Coronavirus deaths has reached 407,068 and 3,988 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of Coronavirus cases in the world has reached 7,136,756. In the last 24 hours, there was an addition of 109,565 new cases. 116,933 deaths have been reported from the United States, the worst-hit country and 7,087 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. 1,946,555 Coronavirus cases have been reported from the United States, so far, with an addition of 24,501 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Brazil reported 525 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths, in the country, to 36,547. The number of Coronavirus cases has reached 693,419, with an addition of 18,912 new cases in 24 hours. The number of Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly, in the Latin American country of Peru, following Brazil and 196,515 cases have been reported from there. Peru has reached the eighth spot, in the list of countries with the maximum number of Coronavirus cases.

In the Asian continent, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia are emerging as the new hotspots of the Coronavirus pandemic. The number of Coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 173,832 and the total number of deaths is 8,351. The number of cases in Pakistan has crossed 100,000 and a total of 2,121 patients have died of Coronavirus. It has been informed that former Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has contracted the Coronavirus infection.
