Moscow: Chinese hackers have launched cyberattacks on military industrial projects, research institutions, and government and administrative websites. The Chinese hackers targeted the websites in countries of eastern European and Afghanistan. Researchers from Kaspersky, a cyber security company, have revealed this information.
Researchers at Kaspersky informed that CA428, the infamous Chinese cyber hacker group was responsible for these cyberattacks. Russian researchers accused the Chinese of stealing sensitive information from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, and Afghanistan. Kaspersky researchers claimed that the hackers successfully penetrated the IT security infrastructure of these facilities.
It is being revealed that the hackers have transferred the stolen data to the servers in China. Kaspersky researchers have confirmed having proof to support their claims. Previously, these Chinese hackers have launched cyberattacks in India, the United States, Europe, and Latin America.
