President Biden’s popularity declines given the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Washington: – US President Joe Biden will be delivering his first-ever State of the Union address. But a new survey has shown that his popularity has already declined to 37%. It is claimed that Biden’s foreign and economic policies are responsible for this decline. The entire US population and media are waiting to see the issue that is given priority by Biden, in these times, when the United States is reeling under massive inflation.

Two leading media houses strongly supported Biden’s opinions a year ago and released the survey results. According to a survey conducted by Washington Post and ABC News, the popularity of Biden has been limited to 37% of the US population. Whereas 55% of the population has said that Biden is an unpopular leader. 61% of the independent groups in the United States not aligned to Ruling Democrat and the opposition Republican party have said that Biden’s leadership is not acceptable to them. The US media are claiming a massive fall in the popularity of Biden based on these surveys.

As per the media conducting this survey, the main reason for this fall is the directionless foreign policy of the Biden administration. A fall in Biden’s popularity has also been noted in one more survey conducted by another news channel in collaboration with a university. This news channel claimed that Biden‘s economic policies and the rising inflation in the country are responsible for this fall. The population has criticised that while the US population is not getting two square meals, the Biden administration is unwilling to take any action for it. Similar inferences have been drawn from the survey conducted by another periodical in the United States.

There is a consistent fall in Biden’s popularity in the surveys conducted over the last year since he became the President. At the same time, various surveys have claimed that the Democrat party may face defeat, whereas the Republican party will secure a majority in the elections for the US Congress to be held at the end of this year.

Meanwhile, it becomes significant that the US media have released this information, with only a few hours left for Biden’s address. The ordinary population is hoping that Biden attaches importance to the issue of flared up inflation and increasing unemployment instead of the Ukraine-Russia war in his address.

Criticism is being made on the US social media that the world was more stable and secure during the tenure of former President Donald Trump. But ever since Biden took over as the President Taliban took over Afghanistan and US weapons. Iran became more aggressive and now the Biden administration has miserably failed in resolving the Russia-Ukraine issue.
