Use of Anti Satellite Weapon may trigger Third World War, warns chief of Russian Space Agency

Moscow/Washington: – Dmitry Rogozin, chief of the Russian space agency, warned about the Third World War, saying, ‘One must keep in mind that the destruction of a foreign spacecraft means World War III. Moreover, the warning of cyberwar and nuclear war on the international level has been consistently issued since the Russia-Ukraine conflict. At the same time, the western countries are making all possible efforts to corner Russia on every front. US President Joe Biden had even announced that efforts would be made to finish the Russian capabilities in space. Therefore, a possibility is being predicted that the cooperation between Russia and the western countries in space will get severely hampered. Against this background, the warning issued by the chief Russian space agency becomes noteworthy.

Rogozin, who warned about the Third World War’s sparking, fired a salvo of criticism at the United States. The US spacecraft AX-37 could be carrying high-end systems for surveillance or weapons of mass destruction. AX-37 becomes a new vehicle for weapons of mass destruction. The Russian space agency chief targeted the United States, saying that an attack from space becomes a highly grave threat. Rogozin pointed out that the United States has not revealed any information regarding the spacecraft. He added that Russia feels that the United States can use this spacecraft to launch nuclear strikes from space. He also accused that the US announcement banning tests of anti-satellite missiles was only propaganda. Rogozin criticized the United States, saying ‘The United States imposing a ban now means all the tests have been completed. The country is only pretending to be a promoter of peace.’
