Beirut: Sheikh Naim Qassem, a senior leader of Hezbollah warned ‘Assassination of senior nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh is a part of an attack on Iran. Soon there will be the Iranian retaliation against all those responsible for the attack.’ Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah had warned, two weeks ago, that the United States and Israel are planning something big. Nasrallah had suggested that therefore, the Iran affiliated groups should be ready for attacks by the United States and Israel. After sending these instructions to the Iran affiliated groups in Syria and Iraq, it was also reported that the senior officials from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah even visited Iraq, to meet commanders of the Iran affiliated groups.

While criticising the assassination of nuclear scientist Fakhrizadeh, Sheikh Naim Qassem, the number two leader in Hezbollah, said that retaliation against the attackers would come from Iran. Qassem also said that there would be no need, for Hezbollah, to participate in this action. At the same time, Qassem claimed that the United States and Israel would not launch a direct attack on Iran, as in that scenario a war will flareup and Qassem claimed that it is not possible in the current situation.

The handbill published by Hezbollah says that the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh amounts to a terror attack.
