Air India's demand sparks sensation worldwide

New Delhi: Air India has created a sensation by placing an order for 470 aircraft with Airbus and Boeing, the world’s leading manufacturers of passenger planes. Moreover, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US President Joe Biden have said that the order received from the Indian airline company will employ millions in their countries. While major countries worldwide were likely to be in the depths of economic recession, the order from India underscores the fact that India will act as an engine of global growth. While the entire world was surprised by this, it has come to light that Air India will buy a total of 840 passenger planes.

According to its disinvestment policy, the Indian government divested its investment in Air India last year, and Air India became part of the Tata group. The Tata group itself had founded Air India. But Air India was nationalised after independence. However, last year, Air India became a part of the Tata group of companies, and vigorous efforts began to expand this company. Besides, the number of people travelling by air increased with India’s economic progress. Furthermore, this will provide a huge opportunity for passenger airlines, and the management of Air India has planned an ambitious plan to take advantage of it.

Accordingly, Air India will buy 250 passenger planes from Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturing giant. After the agreement, the next day, Air India released the purchase transaction of 220 aircraft from the American company Boeing. But even before that, US President Joe Biden had expressed his satisfaction by announcing that Air India would buy more than two hundred aircraft from Boeing. President Biden claimed that this would employ one million people in the United States. President Biden had also claimed that this would employ one million people in the United States.

The globe has noted that Air India would purchase as many as 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing. This has caused India’s economic progress to come forth to the world more strongly. However, while this discussion was going on, Air India Chief Commercial and Transformation Officer Nipun Aggarwal claimed that Air India had registered a total demand of 840 passenger planes. About 470 of these aircraft will come from Airbus and Boeing. But options will be open to Air India for the remaining 370 aircraft, Aggarwal has said.
