UAE has betrayed Palestine by welcoming Israeli Prime Minister, criticises Iranian foreign ministry

Tehran: – ‘The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has betrayed Palestinians by welcoming the Prime Minister of the illegal country responsible for the insecurity, tension and war in the Arab and Islamic countries. The Iranian foreign ministry criticised that the Palestinians, the citizens and freedom fighters from this region will never forget this. On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visited UAE and met Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed. This is the Iranian reaction regarding this visit.

Israeli Prime Minister suddenly announced the UAE visit on Sunday. Prime Minister Bennett held a four-hour-long discussion with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed. The issues under discussion were the trade and technological cooperation between UAE and Israel. At the same time, reports have also been published of UAE inquiring about the purchase of Iron Dome, the Israeli air defence system. It is also said that the Vienna talks regarding the Iran nuclear program were also featured in the discussions. After that, Israeli Prime Minister Bennett declared that the UAE visit was exceptional.   

Moreover, an angry reaction has been received from Iran over the Israeli prime minister’s UAE visit. Saeed Khatibzadeh, the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry, claimed that this visit of the Israeli leader is a threat to the security of the sector. Khatibzadeh clarified that Iran is opposed to any cooperation with Israel. At the same time, Khatibzadeh announced that the resistance to end the Israeli siege on Jerusalem would continue.  

Khatibzadeh criticised, ‘Israel laying siege on Jerusalem is an enemy of the Arab-Islamic countries worldwide. Therefore, any cooperation with Israel rocks the foundation of Palestine.’ Khatibzadeh said that the Palestinian people would never forget this decision of the UAE to cooperate with Israel. Meanwhile, Iran has already threatened the UAE with dire consequences for signing the Abraham agreement with Israel.
