Chinese aircraft carrier sails close to Taiwan after US destroyer patrol

Taipei – Chinese destroyers and fighter jets had so far patrolled close to the Taiwan Strait. It is the first time China’s aircraft carrier, Shandong, has travelled close to Taiwan. At the same time, Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has informed that 35 Chinese fighter jets conducted drills challenging Taiwan’s airspace. There are claims that China has taken this action after the warships of the United States and Canada patrolled the Taiwan Strait. Meanwhile, a few hours ago, China released a blueprint for Taiwan’s merger. The Chinese aircraft carrier’s movements right after this seem to be a warning to Taiwan, the US and its allies.

Moreover, the Central Committee and State Council of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) made public on Tuesday its plan to merge Taiwan with China. According to this, the CCP has prepared to connect Fujian province with Taiwan. Besides, the Chinese mouthpiece has reported that Fujian will be the first home for the Taiwanese people and traders in the future. In addition, Taiwan will hold presidential elections in January next year, and China has prepared to replace Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen’s government with a pro-China government. China’s blueprint is considered as a preparation for this.

Furthermore, within 24 hours of the media making public the plan to merge with Taiwan, the Chinese aircraft carrier reached close to the Taiwan border with its convoy. Also, the Chinese aircraft carrier Shandong sailed in the Pacific Ocean with 20 destroyers from the Bashi Channel area separating Taiwan and the Philippines. Nonetheless, Taiwan’s Kee Lung class destroyer kept an eye on these maritime activities of China and also made the photos of its journey public.

At the same time, 35 aircraft of the Air Force of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA), involving J-10 aircraft, conducted a war exercise encircling Taiwan. About 28 of these aircraft took off near Taiwan and joined the fleet of the Shandong warship travelling through the Bashi Channel area. China’s navy and air force will soon hold a major war exercise in the Pacific Ocean. There are claims that it is in this context the assemblage has begun. Additionally, China has alerted its military and air base in Karbi in Taiwan. Thus, China is now said to be preparing to take action on Taiwan.

Moreover, there are claims that China’s economy is in crisis due to the wrong policies of President Xi Jinping. Unemployment and inflation are increasing quite rapidly in China. Inflation and unemployment are also spreading in developed cities near China’s east and south coasts, including the western region of China, which has been kept underdeveloped by the Communist regime. Besides, there is growing resentment among the Chinese people against Xi Jinping, and there are talks on social media in muffled voices against it. In addition, US House of Representatives member Mike Gallagher has warned that President Xi Jinping would attack Taiwan to divert public attention and prevent China from destabilising.

Simultaneously, Taiwan has also started raising an army of drones to counter China. Under this, Taiwan is manufacturing 700 drones for its military.
